abandoned homes Calimesa

More abandoned homes in Calimesa not much left to these ones besides empty rooms and gutted walls.

Old blue abandoned in Calimesa

Travel yet again some time back(Jan 2014) when I took these images I was only going to one location I had seen via google maps but when the backroads calls your name theres plenty to see.

I pulled up to this destination, gates wide open parked in front which, I normally do not do for obvious reasons and went on in

and there it was old blue,I wasnt sure what to think of it at 1st as I walked up,looked almost like it could be in use still, but upon further inspection it was abandoned.

Funny thing before I took this shot is I heard noises coming from the room, probably birds so I stuck my camera in and took the shot expecting to see some ghostly figure or zombie or squatter, but nothing. The mind really races with crazy thoughts when by yourself exploring places

On to the next location I went, the roads in Calimesa are wonderful to drive on.

Abandoned and lost in Time

Calimesa's wide open area has a hidden treasure in its forgotten  lands known only to the occasional mountain biker or random hiker or urbexer. On a totally different venture I was out photographing 3 different abandoned locations. After I had seen all I could see I figured what the heck and made my treck down the long dirt road because I knew theres was more abandoned goodness waiting,I just didnt know how far.

After walking for almost 40 mins occasionally stopping to take photos of the landscape I found what would end up being a new favorite location.

Has I walked upon the location and its desolation it was like looking back in time

Inside you can see the homes were made of adobe bricks and some small things remained inside

I continued to take photos of the location in and out those will be up in a future post, has the time went on sunset came and I had the long walk back, funny it only took me 20 mins to get back,it got cold and dark fast. The following weeks I went back afew times with a fellow photographer (DanWade photography). Its like a fellow photographer of mine said "if you see umm shoot umm".The location after a few years of me going here has feel even further into the elements so im happy i was able to shoot it.Images from inside will be posted soon so keep your eyes open.

Bombay beach abandoned places

Heres more from my trip to Bombay beach  in 2013,abandoned places galore, tho some homes are still loved in and not every home in Bombay is abandoned so with that being said if your planing a trip to see everything have some respect for those that still call this place home.Enjoy yourself take your photos dont trash anything and take your trash with you.Theres lots to see here in Bombay and the people are friendly so stop on over and buy yourself a drink at one of the establishments there and enjoy the salton sea before it drys up.

Popular abandoned

Some time last year I took a trip out to Whitewater,California on family business it is also the time in which I was going crazy with Vsco presets.

On the 60 freeway going though the badlands of California

into the desert

I stopped at this rest stop after looking on google maps, I realized how photographed this home is,I have a few zoomed in shots too but really hadnt the time to hop the fence and get a look inside.
