Life Beckons

Sometimes the need to shoot takes over, and you find yourself to busy to get out or go on an adventure.Id love to shoot abandoned places everyday or see some recycled art goodness and roadside attraction. So was a bit busy with everything coming home one day from work and seen the leaves on the ground and the color and crispiness grabbed my d3200 attached the 50mm and took a few shots I photographed the leaves for abit and uploaded to my pc and added some vsco presets took them into Silver efex back to lightroom and sent a few to alien skin and was pleased with the result of layering the leafs trying to shoot these 3-4 leafs in a different ways.It really makes you think about your shots when trying to create something almost artistic in a sense.Almost abstract tho seeing the color version the black and white turns these shots into something totally different as youll see in the next post of the color versions.

Bombay Beach Salton Sea California 2013

So to continue on with my 2013 trip to Salton sea I arrived near the water going over a dike along a dirt road to my parking area.Got out and started walking around taking my shots I notices a few faces sticking out.

Has I walked up toward this one I was startled has I turned the corner to see it,I laughed to myself and continued on.

I then found Ms.gas can

and decided to take a pic with her

walking about you really feel a freedom here has to do whatever the hell you want so I did.I think back to these days when I visited and its been one of my favorite trips.
