Bunkers in Riverside,California

Shot these in 2010 maybe 2011 up in the hills of Riverside/Fontana California these bunkers were located up near hillside wrecking yard and the site of the old glen avon acid pits.There were slabs of concrete all over and some random stairs on the mountain tho going back to the junk yard here and there they have since put up fence and no tresspassing signs etc...with warnings of huge fines so if you go goodluck.

tbt throw back to my point and shoot exploring days to the abandoned yard thats pretty well protected to this day and still abandoned.I think the face that an old folks homes is on the side of this property they stay aware of there surroundings and call the cops when they see someone enter.

Honestly thinking back to this places and going here when it was active makes me appreciate it much more has part of california's abandoned places.

#tbt Took these a few years ago maybe a good 4years ago with my Nikon L110 with a tripod goes to show point and shoots can take some awesome shots.

I remember taking these hoping that i wouldnt slip in the muck has I didnt have a car back then and rode the bus to this tunnel.

Going back home I thought man i must smell like dirty water I no my shoes smelt and wear soaked but was happy all the same.
